Users with Google Chrome version 72 or above using the Google Calendar extension for Meetings report that when they click Add Meeting they receive a request to authenticate, then Meetings does not generate a meeting invitation. The latest versions of Chrome are preventing the Calendar extension from creating meetings.
A new Google Calendar extension resolves this issue, and now generates meeting invitations correctly. The browser extension updates automatically, however users must restart Chrome for the update to take effect.
